  • We explain your options and walk you through the financial assistance application process.

Wayne’s College of Beauty is approved to participate in Department of Education Title IV Funding, which include grants and loans.

Grants

PELL Grant – The Pell Grant is a need-based financial aid program from the federal government that is designed to help undergraduates from low-income families afford college. Grants don’t require you to pay any money back and don’t carry interest, unlike loans. Your eligibility and the amount you receive is determined by your financial need based on information you provided in the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

FSEOG Grant – The Federal Supplemental Equal Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) is administered and can be part of the student’s overall aid package. The specific amount is set by the institution’s financial aid office depending on the student’s financial need, funds available at the school, and the amount of aid the student is already receiving.  The SEOG does not have to be re-paid.

In addition to Grants, Wayne’s College of Beauty is approved to participate in the Direct Loan Program.  You may qualify for the Subsidized Loan and/or Unsubsidized Loan.

Subsidized Federal Direct Loan – carries a fixed interest rate. The federal government pays the interest on the loan while you are at school and during your six month grace period after leaving school. Eligibility is based on need. Loans must be paid back.

Unsubsidized Federal Direct Loan – carries a fixed interest rate. You are responsible for the interest that builds on this loan while you are in school and during your grace period. Loans must be paid back.

We streamline the process. Enrollment is fast and hassle-free.
